OceanDBA Ltd is an IT company situated at Quatre Bornes and it provides expert services for open-source databases within the MySQL eco-system: MySQL, MariaDB and Percona Server databases.
OceanDBA is currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Information Technology Security Administrator who will be responsible to implement and provide operational support for security in the company.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze and implement efficient IT security systems
- Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches
- Develop security standards and best practices for the organization
- Recommend security enhancements to management and senior IT staff
- Help computer users when they need to install or learn about new security products and procedures
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
- Run regular vulnerability scanning software against the IT infrastructure and report on remediation priorities.
Experience and Qualifications
- Atleast 2-5 years of experience in IT Security
- Experience with Linux, SQL, audit and security concepts
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
- Experienced in installing security software ( preferably open source) and documenting security issues
- Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus and IDPS concepts
- Knowledge of security, vulnerability, exploits, forensics, incident response
